SCREENINGS
MTSU students, musicians, buck dancers, cast, crew and producers of MAUPINFEST enjoyed a great time during a screening of the documentary at Middle Tennessee State University's Bragg Media Building on November 20th, 2025.
Showing of the film was bookended by live performances of music and dance, highlighted by some MTSU students stepping forward to take their first lessons as taught by some of the world's best: Thomas Maupin, Angela Wood and Jake Fennell. Also there were Daniel Rothwell and his band, Maupinfest event hosts Keith and Jean Williams, plus the film's producers, Michael Duncan and David Van Hooser.
The producers are grateful to MTSU instructor, Dr. Jerod Ra'Del Hollyfield, for his enthusiasm and passion in making this event happen.

UPCOMING SCREENINGS
and CONTACTS
This is where we will keep you informed of any upcoming screenings of our MAUPINFEST documentary at film festivals, public showings or school screenings. The film's Producers just simply want to preserve the arts of old-time music and buck (flat foot) dancing by showing this documentary to interested people.
If you have suggestions regarding screening opportunities for MAUPINFEST, or perhaps have creative concepts - and even funding - for future documentaries profiling amazing folk artists, you may contact Executive Producer Mike Duncan at mike@springerhouseevents.com, or Producer David Van Hooser at david.vanhooser@mac.com.
